This procedure, also known as liposuction, is recommended for patients with localized excess fat but not obese, nor with flaccidity of the skin, as liposculpture seeks the reduction of fat with subsequent contraction of the skin that adapts to the new contour body, otherwise the skin will remain thin but off.
The most common sites of liposuction are the abdomen, waist, back, thighs on its inner and outer face, knees, arms, neck (jowls), armpits, etc. This procedure can be combined with lipoinjection or fat grafting, which fills in places with low enhancement such as buttocks, lips, facial furrows, forehead, etc.

Anesthesia:
It is recommended to use general anesthesia or in larger cases epidural (column) and local anesthesia assisted in localized places.

Procedure:
Through small incisions, the fatty tissues are infiltrated with a special solution that helps loosen the fat and avoid bleeding to be able to do extensive liposuction with minimal complications and avoid blood transfusions, then with the help of special cannulae extraction is performed of the superficial and deep fat of the area in question, until obtaining the desired contour; to then suture wounds that are less than 1 cm in hiding places. Then sash is placed for 1 to 2 months and a week later the sutures are removed and basic physiotherapy is started for a good result. Antibiotics and analgesics are formulated and managed on an outpatient basis. The procedure lasts approximately 2 to 4 hours.
